LV Arc Flash Electrical Safety Training

Certified Arc Flash Training By Qualified Experts

This 1-day Instructor-LED, Certified Low Voltage ARC Flash Training Course incorporates recent revisions to the 2018 edition of CSA Z462, Canada’s AR Flash Electrical Safety in the workplace standard.

Arc Flash Electrical Satefy Training Course

Our Arc Flash Electrical Safety Training course is compliant with the many changes to the latest CSA Z462 Standard. Arc Flash Electrical Safety Training for Qualified Electrical Workers covers all information required by electrical workers to safely work on apparatus rated lower than 750 volts. It includes all legislative requirements applicable to electrical workers, as well as the CSA Z462 (Workplace Electrical Safety) Standard. This course provides technical content and ppe demonstration training for power systems equipment.

All students will be required to complete a competency exam at the end of the course and reach a minimum passing grade of 80%. Certificates of Arc Flash Training will be issued to all students who reach this threshold. This popular one-day LV Arc Flash and Shock Training course is designed for front-line workers who are responsible for electrical systems and needing certification in the CSA Z462 electrical safety standard.

This standard covers safe work practices related to electrical dangers in the workplace. Students will gain a solid understanding of hazards encountered while operating or maintaining electrical installations in the low voltage (below 750V) class including a full understanding of the arc hazard categorization, appropriate PPE selection and safe electrical work procedures. This one-day Instructor-led Arc Flash and Shock Training course is much more educational experience than taking an online training course or watching an online video!!
